Our futons have 25% more lace tufts than the competition.

For added strength, the heavy cotton twill outer shell is constructed like a box - with top, bottom and side panels - not like a pillow as on other futons.

We 'crown' each futon across the middle with several pounds of extra cotton top and bottom for extra comfort and support.

Double-stitched seams won't split or unwind.

With more densely packed cotton inside than any other futon, a Gold Bond will retain its firmness, loftiness and support long after the competition falls flat.

The cotton batting is pre-compressed under maximum pressure while the tufts are installed, ensuring lasting firmness and durability.

With two layers of solid 1½" foam, our popular double-foam core features maximum resiliency and cushioning.

Inside every 8” Double Foam Core, you'll find 40 LBS of Gold Bond's custom-blended "JOY" cotton batting - the densest most durable in the world - using nothing but the purest 50% long-staple cotton picker and 50% cotton linter available. We've been blending it ourselves for over a hundred years
